how did you do in high school?
I didn’t do too bad. I had something a bit higher than a 3.75 GPA. Scored an 1850 on my SATs. There were only two C+s on my transcript - one from freshman honors English and another from AP US History. I was always in the top 25% of my class. I was accepted into seven out of eight colleges (my only rejection was NYU, which I saw coming). I was a section leader in marching band, president of my jazz band, a part of pit band, and a junior firefighter on my local fire department. I also had a great restaurant job, but I quit to be with band.
I shouldn’t complain since I’m lucky enough to have an education, but I know if I didn’t coast my way through most of high school I would have done better.
